A package may be returned to sender when the carrier is unable to complete delivery. Common reasons include missing apartment numbers, incorrect addresses, vacant addresses, refused deliveries, forwarding issues, or other situations where the carrier cannot successfully deliver the package.
What happens when a package is returned?
Once a package enters the Return to Sender process, it must travel back through the carrier's network before it can be received and processed by Arm Or Ally. Unfortunately, neither the carrier nor Arm Or Ally can typically intercept or redirect a Return to Sender shipment once that process has begun.
Option 1: Place a new order
The fastest way to receive your items is often to place a new order using the correct shipping information.
After placing the new order, open a support ticket and provide both the original order number and the new order number. Once the original package is returned to us, the order will be processed accordingly.
For Return to Sender situations caused by address issues, any free shipping promotions originally applied to the order will not be refunded. Additional shipping charges are also non-refundable.
Option 2: Request reshipment
If you would like the original order reshipped after it is returned to us, open a support ticket and provide the correct shipping address.
You must also authorize any applicable reshipping charges. Once the package is received back at one of our facilities, the order can be prepared for reshipment.
Please allow up to 14 business days from the date the returned package is received by Arm Or Ally for processing.
Option 3: Request a refund
If you no longer want the order, you may request a refund after the package has been returned to us.
Once received, the return will be processed according to our return policies. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and applicable restocking fees may apply.
How to avoid Return to Sender issues
- Verify your shipping address before submitting your order.
- Include apartment, suite, building, or unit numbers when applicable.
- Confirm that your address can receive deliveries from the selected carrier.
- Monitor tracking information and respond promptly to carrier delivery notices.
Providing complete and accurate address information during checkout is the best way to prevent delivery delays and Return to Sender situations.
